CNU fraternity to host charity soccer tournament on March 31

The Kappa Delta Rho fraternity will host a Grassroot Soccer "Lose the Shoes" 3-on-3 tournament on March 31 at James River Field at Christopher Newport University, 1 University Place, Newport News.

The tournament will benefit Grassroot Soccer, an international nonprofit that uses the power of soccer to save lives by preventing the spread of HIV among youth in Africa.

The winners will have the chance to represent CNU in the college division at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The free event will also include T-shirts for sale, information about Grassroot Soccer and a field for pick-up games.
