Newport News residents make dean's list at James Madison University
Fourteen Newport News residents made the dean's list for the spring semester at James Madison University in Harrisonburg.
The following students made the list:
Leslie Bland, an engineering major; Casey Healy, a finance major; Michael Hamill, an integrated science and technology major; Caitlin Shipman, an integrated science and technology major; Michelle Claytor, an interdisciplinary liberal studies major; Lauren Hancock, an interdisciplinary liberal studies major; Megan Woolard, an interdisciplinary liberal studies major; Lauren Crain, a management major; and
Michael Firestone, a mathematics major; Gina Cook, a media arts and design major; Kori Young, a media arts and design major; Taylor Mason, a philosophy and religion major; Cailee Helmick, a psychology major; Elizabeth Aultice, a social work major; and Rebecca Neal, a statistics major.
The students earned a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.89 while taking at least 12 credit hours to achieve the distinction.
