Newport News Police Department incident report, June 27

The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents on Wednesday, June 27:

The Newport News Sheriff's Office arrested Marcell T. Smith, 26, on a charge of legacy data with an unknown offense at 2 a.m. in the 200 block of 26th Street.

Brandon D. Williams, 22, was arrested on a charge of being drunk in public at 4:57 a.m. in the 17300 block of Warwick Boulevard.

Randy A. Jeter, 24,  was arrested on charges of firearm: use in commission of felony, first offense; and  train, car, boat: maliciously shoot, in the right of way at 9:18 a.m. in the 9700 block of Jefferson Avenue.

The Newport News Sheriff's Office arrested Conrad A. Llewellyn, 28, on a charge of petit larceny under $200 (not from a person) at 11:59 a.m. in the 2500 block of Washington Avenue.

The Newport News Sheriff's Office arrested Ronnie A. Rooks, 27, on a charges of assault: on law enforcement, judge, doctor, fire or emergency personnel at 11:59 a.m. in the 2500 block of Washington Avenue.
