Newport News police make several arrests Monday, July 2
The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents Monday, July 2, 2012.
The Newport News Police Department arrested Erik D. Moyer, 28, in the 16800 block of Warwick Boulevard Monday. Moyer was arrested at 1:39 a.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Police arrested Nicholas W. Snell, 36, at 2:12 a.m. Monday. Snell was detained on charges of first offense DWI with a blood alcohol content between .08-.14% from the 500 block of J. Clyde Morris Boulevard.
On Monday the Newport News Police Department arrested Jessica A. Goulet on charges of assault on a family member. Goulet, 25, was taken into custody from the 700 block of Bellows Way at 2:37 a.m.
The Newport News Police Department arrested Vincent A. Thomas, 60, in the 12400 block of Jefferson Avenue Monday. Thomas was arrested at 11 a.m. on charges of being drunk in public.
Police arrested Jean A. Aubourg, 59, at 11:01 a.m. Monday. Aubourg was detained on charges of violating the sex offender register due failing to or providing false information from the 9700 block of Jefferson Avenue.
On Monday the Newport News Police Department arrested Erick L. Bell on charges of a violation of a direct court order. Bell, 37, was taken into custody from the 12500 block of Jefferson Avenue at 1:01 p.m.
