Emmen announces plan to become BOSH Technologies
Emmen Aerospace has announced it is rebranding itself as BOSH Technologies effective Oct. 1.
The Newport News company specializes in the development and production of unmanned aircraft technology. The change will mark the company’s formal introduction into The BOSH Group, a collective of businesses that also work on unmanned systems, according to a press release. BOSH Group CEO Robert Fitzgerald said the addition of Emmen will add diversity to the group’s portfolio.
“Emmen has a proven track record of success in supplying affordable, easy-to-use Unmanned Aircraft Systems to U.S. government and military personnel at home and in Iraq and Afghanistan,” he said in a press release. “As BOSH Technologies, the company will build on that success, expanding into new markets by customizing field-proven unmanned systems to meet the specific needs of law enforcements, emergency responders and other civil communities."
Emmen products the Swiper, Super Swiper, Skynet and Condor will continue to be produced.
