Newport News Police Department incident report, July 4

The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents Wednesday, July 4:

Albert L. Cotten, 58, was arrested on a charge of being drunk in public at 12:17 a.m. in the 500 block of Catina Way.

Lewis Marshall, 49, was arrested on a charge of being drunk in public at 2 a.m. in the 400 block of Manor Road.

Aliscia N. Alexander, 36, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, first offense, with a blood-alcohol content of .08 to .14 percent; obstructing justice: with threats or force; driving on suspended, revoked license; and recklessor improper driving at 2:24 a.m. in the 14900 block of Warwick Boulevard.

Shameka N. Doswel, 29, was arrested on a charge of assault or battery by mob at 8:43 a.m. in the 800 block of 24th Street.

Princess A. Singleton, 20, was arrested on a charge of assault or battery by mob at 8:45 a.m. in the 800 block of 24th Street.
