Newport News Police seek shooting suspect
Tyrek Laquann Allen is wanted by the Newport News police, according to a press release.
Allen, who is 19, weighs 178 pounds and stands 5-foot-7, has been charged with three counts of malicious wounding and three counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Allen is accused of taking part in a triple shooting which occurred at 33rd Street and Marshall Avenue Feb. 21, according to the release. Allen’s last known address is 700 Waterfront Circle.
Allen has been seen recently in the area of Waterfront Circle and the Aqua Vista Apartments (between Jefferson Avenue and Ivy Avenue on Sixth Street).
