Newport News police make several arrests Monday, July 16

The Newport News Police Department reported several arrests Monday, July 16.

Eugene P. Schuler, 28, was arrested by the Newport News Police Department at 1:15 a.m. Monday. Schuler was detained on charges of malicious wounding, assault: shoot, stab, etc in commission of felony from the 300 block of Boulder Drive.

The Newport News Police Department arrested Michael L. Lassiter, 50, in the 700 block of J Clyde Morris Boulevard Monday. Lassiter was arrested at 1:25 a.m. on charges of being drunk in public.

Quenard Allen, 21, was arrested by the Newport News Police Department at 1:32 a.m. Monday. Allen was detained on charges of possessing a firearm as a nonviolent felon within 10 years of a conviction from the 6100 block of Jefferson Avenue.

Kelvin D. Holland, 44, was arrested by the Newport News Police Department at 1:42 a.m. Monday. Holland was detained on charges of phone, citizens band using profane, threatening language on a phone, citizens band from the 700 block of 36th Street.

Taryn A. Wickliffe, 21, was arrested by the Newport News Police Department at 3:44 a.m. Monday. Wickliffe was detained on charges of failure to return more than $200 rental property and failure to appear on traffic summons from the 15200 block of Warwick Boulevard.

Emanuel D. Seldon, 22, was arrested by the Newport News Police Department at 5:06 a.m. Monday. Seldon was detained on charges of possession of a schedule i or drug II from the 15200 block of Warwick Boulevard.

The Newport News Police Department arrested Lonnie L. Nowell, 21, in the 9700 block of Jefferson Avenue Monday. Nowell was arrested at 6:57 a.m. on charges of assault or battery by mob.

The Newport News Sheriff's Office arrested Mario L. Turner, 22, in the 200 block of 26th Street Monday. Turner was arrested at 12:40 p.m. on charges of legacy data with an unknown offense charge.

Marvin R. Anthony, 50, was arrested by the Newport News Sheriff's Office at 1:17 p.m. Monday. Anthony was detained on charges possession of schedule i drugs, trespassing after having been forbidden to do so, unauthorized distribution of paraphernalia and disregarding or eluding command of law enforcement II from the 2500 block of Washington Avenue.
