Newport News Police make several arrests Friday, July 20

The Newport News Police Department reported the following arrests Friday, July 20.

The Newport News Police Department arrested Kevin L. Rockemore, 28, in the 5800 block of Jefferson Avenue Friday. Rockemore was arrested at 12:38 a.m. on charges of falsely identifying himself to law enforcement.

On Friday the Newport News Police Department arrested Clarence L. Smith on charges of burglary (entering a building to commit larceny, etc.). Smith, 28, was taken into custody from the 500 block of 40th Street at 12:51 a.m.

On Friday the Newport News Police Department arrested Linwood R. Smith on charges of burglary (entering a building to commit larceny, etc.) and assault (misdemeanor). Smith, 41, was taken into custody from the 500 block of 40th Street at 12:58 a.m.

The Newport News Sheriff's Office arrested Felecia D. Roy, 41, in the 200 block of 26th Street Friday. Roy was arrested at 4:19 a.m. on charges of simple assault and battery and assault or battery by mob.

On Friday the Newport News Sheriff's Office arrested Kevin D. Titus on charges of assault (misdemeanor). Titus, 44, was taken into custody from the 200 block of 26th Street at 6:39 a.m.

Robert J. Wagner, 48, was arrested by the Newport News Police Department at 7:57 a.m. Friday. Wagner was detained on charges of indecent liberties with a child.
