Go Green Expo to help residents focus on simple changes
Hampton Roads' premier indoor festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Brittingham-Midtown Community Center on Saturday, Sept. 22.
The fourth annual Go Green Expo, sponsored by the Virginia Cooperative Extension Newport News Master Gardeners Association, will focus on products and ideas for eco-living, according to a press release. The event will feature more than 70 eco-friendly products and service vendors, a bake sale, live music, dance demos, farmers market, pumpkin patch, raffles, moving showing, gardening lectures, rain barrel workshops and hands-on children's crafts.
The expo is free and open to the public.

For vendors or exhibitors wishing to participate, send an email to gogreenexpo@aol.com. The Master Gardeners Association is seeking participants from nonprofits, the health and fitness industry, small businesses, crafters, music and arts and dance.
Brittingham-Midtown Community Center is located at 570 McLawhorne Drive, Newport News.
