Republican Women's Club to host election integrity training Aug. 11
The Hampton Roads Republican Women's Club will hold an election integrity training workshop beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at the Pointe Plaza Restaurant in Newport News.
The guest speaker for the event will be Anita Moncrief, editor in chief of the American Majority website. Her talk, titled "Emerging Corruption," will tell the story of an ACORN whistleblower, according to a press release regarding the event.
The cost for the event is $20 per person. Reservations with a check are due by Friday, Aug. 3. Seating is limited.
Registration at the workshop begins at 9 a.m. with breakfast at 9:15 a.m. Moncrief will speak at 10 a.m.
Participants should make checks payable to the HRRWC and mailed to 235 Dublin Court, Newport News, VA 23601. Reservations will be valid with the receipt of the check.
Pointe Plaza Restaurant is located at 950 J. Clyde Morris Blvd. I-64, Exit 258A, in Newport News.
