Newport News police report 2 arrests July 31

The Newport News Police Department reported the following arrests for Tuesday, July 31.

Robert C. Madden, 56, was arrested by the Newport News Sheriff's Office at 2:38 a.m. Tuesday. Madden was detained on charges of DWI: 1st offense, BAC .15 .20%, disregarding or eluding law enforcement, endangerment and not reporting an accident with death, injury or damage of greater than $1000 from the 200 block of 26th Street.

Mark McKenney, 49, was arrested by the Newport News Sheriff's Office at noon Tuesday. McKenney was detained on charges of not complying with a court order from the 200 block of 26th Street.
