Results of Virginia Department of Health restaurant inspections were reported in the southern Newport News area for July:

A risk-factor assessment inspection at B's BBQ on July 2 found no critical violations at the mobile food unit at 11006 Warwick Blvd.

Four critical violations were found July 5 during a routine inspection at Asian Grill, a full-service restaurant at 12442-A Warwick Blvd.

Four critical violations were found July 12 during a routine inspection of Subway #5164, a fast-food restaurant at 12368 Warwick Blvd. #110.

A routine inspection of Art-Is Delicious Foods conducted July 11 found no critical violations at the mobile food unit at 1915 25th St.

A routine inspection conducted at The Chesapeake on July 11 found no critical violations at the nursing home food service at 955 Harpersville Road.
