Newport News Police Department incident report, Aug. 5

The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents Aug. 5:

Dawn M. Polk, 27, was arrested on charges of simple assault and battery at 1:16 a.m. in the 500 block of Mookie Court.

Adrian A. Kotschevar, 38, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence at 1:57 a.m. in the 500 block of J Clyde Morris Boulevard.

Lashad M. Solomon, 26, was arrested on charges of DWI, first offense, with a blood alcohol content between .08 and .14 percent at 4:25 a.m. in the 200 block of 26th Street.
