The following arrests were reported by the Newport News Police Department for the period of Sept. 2 to Sept. 8:

On Sept. 2, Nathaniel M. West, 41, was arrested on charges of public intoxication at 1:23 a.m. on Palace Court.

On Sept. 2, Blake D. Brown, 26, was arrested on charges of grand larceny at 6:22 a.m. on Town Center Drive.

On Sept. 2, Hashim O. Brown, 35, was arrested on charges of public intoxication at 3:11 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

On Sept. 2, Amber M. Wainwright, 20, was arrested on charges of domestic assault at 4:34 p.m. on Troy Drive.

On Sept. 2, Tyrone J. Field, 28, was arrested on charges of failure to appear in traffic court at 9:53 p.m. on Woodall Court.

On Sept. 3, Anthony L. Tucker, 27, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 12:51 a.m. on Warwick Boulevard.
