US Fleet Forces Band to perform Oct. 10

A performance by the U.S. Fleet Forces Band will start at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Mariners' Museum, in Newport News.

The event is part of the museum's fall lecture series, and Lt. Cmdr. Bruce A. McDonald, the director of the band, will lead a discussion.

Admission is free, and refreshments will be available.

Mariners' Museum is located at 100 Museum Drive.
