Newport News Police Department arrest report, Sept. 12

The Newport News Police Department reported the following arrests on Sept. 12:

Edward G. Rhoades, 51, was arrested on charges of public intoxication at 1:13 a.m. on Thimble Shoals Boulevard.

Carlton A. McRae, 30, was arrested on charges of public intoxication at 1:49 a.m. on Ivy Avenue.

Kevin K. Smith, 46, was arrested on charges of battery at 7 a.m. on 26th Street.

Andre Williams, 30, was arrested on charges of felony violation of probation at 9:12 a.m. on Warwick Boulevard.

Kenneth A. Martin, 20, was arrested on charges of pickpocketing of value not in excess of $5 at 11:16 a.m. on 26th Street.

Kason S. Newby, 19, was arrested on charges of failure to appear in court for a misdemeanor offense at 11:49 a.m. on 26th Street.

Kevin D. Baird, 28, was arrested on charges of failure to appear in traffic court at 11:55 a.m. on 26th Street.

Montray L. Watford, 35, was arrested on charges of grand larceny of a value not in excess of $200 at 11:55 a.m. on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard.
