Newport News Fire Department open house scheduled Oct. 13

Newport News Fire Department will hold an open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Oyster Point Fire Station No. 6.

During the event, Fire Prevention Week will be celebrated by educating participants on fire safety with station tours and demonstrations from fire department specialty teams.

Oyster Point Fire Station No. 6 is at 685 Oyster Point Road, Newport News.
