Newport News Police Department incident report, Oct. 4

The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents on Oct. 4:   Leroy Clyburn, 30, was arrested on charges of assault on a public servant at 2:18 a.m. Mercury Boulevard.   Leon L. Bennett, 26, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence at 2:21 a.m. Jefferson Avenue.   Keara M. Logan, 23, was arrested on charges of assault at 2:57 a.m. Fairfax Avenue.   Evan C. Thomas, 21, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence at 3:45 a.m. 26th Street.   Tyrone C. Hughes, 23, was arrested on charges of Remove at 12:38 p.m. 26th Street.
