Menchville Baptist Church to host emergency shelter benefit Nov. 13

Menchville Baptist Church will hold a From Hurt to Hope dinner at the church to benefit the Menchville House at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.

The event will feature food catered by Carrabbas Italian Grill. In addition, food from from local restaurants and bakeries will be available, as well as a raffle, silent auction and testimonies from residents and former residents of Menchville House, which is is an emergency housing facility for homeless women and their children..

The dinner is open to the public and requires a $25 minimum donation per person.

Menchville Baptist Church is at 248 Menchville Road, Newport News.
