Newport News Police Department arrests, Oct. 22

The Newport News Police Department reported the following arrests on Oct. 22:

Taja T. Johnson, 35, was arrested on charges of misdemeanor violation of probation at 6 p.m. on 26th Street.
 
Terrence L. Ray, 31, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 9:15 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.
 
Alexor D. Manigo, 26, was arrested on charges of possession or use of drugs at 12:06 p.m. on Washington Avenue.
 
Tahesha C. Canaday, 26, was arrested on charges of failure to appear in traffic court at 12:17 p.m. on Washington Avenue.
 
Lynnaye A. Wilson, 22, was arrested on charges of mob violence at 12:20 p.m. on Eclipse Court.
 
Jaquita T. Elazier, 24, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 12:41 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.
 
Vincent N. Johnson, 41, was arrested on charges of possession of weapons as a convicted felon at 3:26 p.m. on 26th Street.
 
Damarcus Q. Smith, 20, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 4:50 p.m. on 30th Street.
 
Marquis L. Richardson, 25, was arrested on charges of possession of drugs with intent to sell at 7:24 p.m. on 26th Street.
 
Lashay C. Freeman, 30, was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing at 7:57 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.
 
Mary A. Jones, 47, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 8:51 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.
 
Casie M. Bledsoe, 20, was arrested on charges of violation of pretrial release at 9:38 p.m. on Menchville Road.
 
Eric L. Vaughan, 26, was arrested on charges of misdemeanor violation of probation at 10:09 p.m. on 26th Street.
