Newport News high schools' lunch menu for the week of Dec. 3 is as follows:

Monday, Dec. 3: Popcorn chicken bowl, cheese quesadilla, sloppy Joe, burrito, green beans and baked beans, applesauce and fresh fruit

Tuesday, Dec. 4: Vegetable beef soup with toasted cheese sandwich, pizza, wafer steak and cheese, hot dog on a bun, whole kernel corn and collard greens, pineapple chunks and fresh fruit

Wednesday, Dec. 5: Nachos with roll, crispy beef steak on bun, corn dog nuggets, fish on a bun, refried beans and broccoli, chilled pears and fresh fruit

Thursday, Dec. 6: Beef, cheese soft taco, pizza, wafer steak and cheese, hot dog on a bun, whole kernel corn and collard greens, pineapple chunks and fresh fruit

Friday, Dec. 7: Macaroni and cheese with ham slice and roll, chicken fries, rib-b-que on hoagie, grilled chicken patty on bun, steamed cabbage and butternut squash, spiced apples and fresh fruit

Available daily: Deli sandwiches and wraps, PB and J Uncrustables and milk (fat-free chocolate, strawberry and white)
